Mad Russians

This is a great clip from Google Video. It shows a young Russian guy climbing around Moscow. It's called Parkour 'a physical discipline of French origin in which the participant — called a traceur — attempts to pass obstacles in the fastest and most direct manner possible, using skills such as jumping, vaulting and climbing'. You may remember the BBC 'trailer' back in 2002 with the guy called David Belle leaping across roof tops. For those who haven't see the video then click here. It's impressive. Check out Wikipedia for a definition. On a related note I just had to say how wonderful Wikipedia is. Have a look at the site. It's a free online resource maintained by people that reference it. I've been very impressed so far, especially at the amount of detail. I advise you to book mark the site.

Oh and can I just apologise to my Dad. He doesn't have broadband so this video is going to kill his internet connection. Come on Dad, put your hand on your pocket and give BT a call. Abi's dad is now surfing the high speed highway. So if he can (sorry Herb) anyone can do it!!!
